I offer this poem for your “Think Spring” prize:

    They say it’s woman’s work,

And to till the soil in springtime,
and to plant until the fall.
So we spade, and rake, and poke,
and grow our corn rows tall.
‘Cause we all know that WOMANSWORK
is here to help us all!

I know each day is one day closer to Spring. But… southwest Iowa has been hit with snow much more this year. I don’t understand how the town’s recorded 3.5 ” snowfall can translate into 6 – 10 ” in my driveway and sidewalks. Im so tired of shoveling!! So last Sunday I started some seeds in my basement. I have these little Marigolds popping up. Hopefully Impatiens are on their way. Love your gloves and tools. Thanks for letting me vent about this crummy weather!

  49. Carolyn A Smith says:

I would love to win the “Think Spring” Giveaway. The daffodils are up in full force here and I could certainly use the items in the yard. With all the rain we are having, perhaps a sponge would be helpful.
